Theme: Raising Resilient Children in the Digital Age Resource Person: Dr. Shanthi Sathish Good Shepherd School organized a Parents' Orientation Programme on 13th June 2026 in the school hall. The session aimed to strengthen the partnership between parents and the school in nurturing responsible, confident, and resilient children. The programme began with a warm welcome by the Principal, Sr. Philo Jacob, followed by an enlightening session by the resource person, Dr. Shanthi Sathish, on the theme "Raising Resilient Children in the Digital Age." She highlighted the challenges faced by children in today's technology-driven world and shared practical strategies to help parents build resilience, emotional well-being, self-discipline, and healthy digital habits in their children. Following the keynote session, Sr. Philo Jacob addressed the parents and briefed them on the school's vision, values, rules, and expectations. She emphasized the importance of regular attendance, punctuality, discipline, proper uniform, academic responsibility, and active parental involvement in the child's education. She also explained various school policies, communication channels, safety measures, and co-curricular opportunities available for students. The Principal encouraged parents to maintain close cooperation with teachers and the school administration to ensure the holistic development of every child. The session provided parents with a clear understanding of the school's functioning and their role in supporting their children's growth and success. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks.
