Report on Teachers' Orientation Programme for Good Shepherd Institutions

A Teachers' Orientation Programme began at 9 am for all three schools namely Good Shepherd school, St. Euphrasia’s School and Sacred Heart School was held on 29th June 2026 at the Sacred Heart School Auditorium. The programme brought together teachers from all the institutions to strengthen their commitment to quality education and professional growth. The programme began with an address by Manager Sr. Shantha, who shared the rich history of the school, and explained the service rules and regulations of the institutions, emphasizing the importance of professionalism, discipline, commitment, and teamwork in carrying forward the legacy of quality education. The resource person for the day, Mrs. Elleena, then conducted insightful and engaging sessions focusing on role as a Good Shepherd and effective teaching methodologies, classroom management, student engagement, leadership qualities, and the evolving role of teachers in the modern educational landscape. Her interactive approach encouraged active participation and meaningful discussions among the teachers. The programme provided an excellent platform for educators to reflect on their teaching practices, exchange ideas, and gain fresh perspectives on nurturing students academically and personally. The sessions emphasized the importance of dedication, collaboration, and continuous learning in achieving educational excellence. The orientation programme was highly informative and inspiring. The participants appreciated the valuable guidance shared by Sr. Shantha and Ms. Elleena and expressed their commitment to implementing the learnings in their classrooms. The programme concluded at 4 pm with a vote of thanks and renewed enthusiasm for the academic year ahead.
